Yves Saint Laurent 1990s Braided Cord Tassel Belt – Black, Pink & Green

Rare Yves Saint Laurent 1990s statement belt in black braided cord, finished with multicolored twisted ropes and oversized tassels, drawing from the decorative language of traditional kaftan dress.

The base is constructed from rows of dense black passementerie cord, forming a wide, structured waistband that sits flat against the body. At either side, circular braided details anchor several draped cords twisted in vivid fuchsia, emerald green and lavender, creating layered swags across the front of the waist.

Two long fuchsia tassels fall from either side, each suspended from a fine green cord and wrapped at the top in matching thread. Against the otherwise entirely black foundation, the saturated color feels almost jewelry-like, turning the belt into the central element of the silhouette rather than a functional accessory.
